From 29 June to 3 July 2026, Femina ry is hosting the first Nordic–Baltic and Caucasus Dialogue forum. This is not a traditional conference. It is an open platform built on genuine conversation where civil society, youth, diaspora communities, policymakers, and experts meet face to face.

What if conflicts could be resolved through culture, mutual understanding, and true listening?

WHAT IS NORDIC–BALTIC AND CAUCASUS DIALOGUE?

This is a historic gathering. For the first time, representatives from the Nordic region, the Baltics, and the Caucasus come together on a shared platform to address the challenges and opportunities that divide and unite these regions. The forum brings together:

  • Civil society organizations from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan
  • Young activists whose voices are too often unheard
  • Diaspora communities that build bridges between their homelands and Northern Europe
  • Experts in human rights, gender equality, and sustainable development
  • Decision-makers and policymakers who must hear the voice of civil society

WHY IS THIS CRITICAL NOW?

Regions where tailwind has turned into headwind. Digital propaganda breeds mistrust. Violence threatens stability. Young people are leaving. Women’s rights are under threat. The environment is dying slowly.

Together, we can change this narrative.

🎯 THE FORUM ADDRESSES FOUR CRITICAL AREAS

  1. Peacebuilding and Intercultural Dialogue
How do we create genuine understanding across cultures, religions, and nations? How can we use art, music, and culture as tools for conflict resolution?
  2. Human Rights and Social Integration
Diaspora communities, refugees, minorities: who hears their voices? How do we protect fundamental rights when institutions fail?
  3. Gender Equality and Women’s Safety
Women suffer first in crises. How can we build peace that is truly women’s peace?
  4. Digital Resilience, Youth, and Sustainable Development
Young people use digital tools for change — or for state propaganda. How do we teach critical thinking? How do we protect digital security while maintaining openness?
