🚀 Launching Our New Erasmus+ Project “Digital Safe and Participatory Learning Environments for Women Community Educators”

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of our new Erasmus+ adult education mobility project: “Digital Safe and Participatory Learning Environments for Women Community Educators”

Over the next 12 months, eight educators and staff members from Femina ry will travel to Estonia, Latvia, and Denmark to learn cutting-edge adult education methods.

💡 Why This Project?

In our work with adult women from multilingual, migrant, and intercultural backgrounds, we identified three core areas to strengthen:

1. Digital Facilitation. Ensuring session time is spent learning, not fighting technology barriers.
2. Inclusive Methods. Moderating intercultural discussions and engaging quieter learners with confidence.
3. Knowledge Sharing. Documenting best practices so our whole team—and partner organizations—can benefit.

🌍 What We Are Doing

Through specialized courses and job-shadowing, our team will build strong competencies in:

• Digital content and modern pedagogical practices
• Bridging intercultural, intergenerational, and social divides
• Creating psychologically safe, inclusive learning environments

Key Mobility Activities:

• 🇪🇪 Estonia (Aug 2026): Preparatory planning visit with Sillamäe Society for Child Welfare.
• 🇱🇻 Latvia (Oct 2026): Blended-learning design & digital facilitation course with SIA Mācību centrs “Komunālceltnieks”.
• 🇩🇰 Denmark (Nov 2026): Participatory methods & psychological safety course with Folkevirke.
• 🇪🇪 Estonia (Nov 2026): Hands-on job-shadowing of community workshops in Ida-Viru County.

🎯 Impact & Expected Results Our goal isn’t just to learn it’s to bring these tools back to our community in Finland

• 📚 1 Shared Methodological Toolkit (digital facilitation guidelines & workshop templates published for public use).
• 👥 At least 120 adult learners reached with enhanced workshop formats.
• 🔄 4+ internal peer-training sessions to upskill all Femina ry facilitators.
