A creative journey towards sustainability, inclusion and the future of Nordic culture
“Culture is the heartbeat of the Nordic spirit —
strong, calm, and deeply connected to nature.”
About the Project
Nordic Culture Future – Our Vision 2030 is a cross-border creative initiative led by Femina ry (Finland).
It brings together artists, educators, youth and cultural professionals from Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Estonia — to co-create a new cultural story for the future.
Through music, theatre, dance, digital tools and AI, we explore how Nordic art and creativity can inspire a more sustainable, inclusive and equal future, in line with the Nordic Vision 2030.
🗓 Project period: January – September 2026
📍 Countries: Finland · Denmark · Sweden · Estonia
🎭 Fields: Theatre · Dance · Music · Cultural Heritage · Performance
🌐 Lead partner: Femina ry
“The future of Nordic culture is co-created — together.”

We use creativity as a bridge between generations, nations and disciplines — inspiring a greener, fairer and more connected Nordic region.
Our mission is to:
- 🌱 Encourage cultural innovation and sustainability
- 💬 Strengthen Nordic collaboration and inclusion
- 🎭 Empower youth as cultural changemakers
- 🕊 Build a lasting Nordic-Baltic Creative Network

Project Stages
🎨 Stage 1 — Learn (Jan–Feb 2026)
Local creative workshops in each country will help participants discover the connection between Nordic culture, nature and equality.
They will learn through storytelling, movement, and performance.
📸
💡 Stage 2 — Create (Mar–May 2026)
International workshops in Finland and Denmark bring together youth and professionals to co-create content — music, theatre, and choreography — using digital tools and AI.
These sessions are the creative heart of the project.
“In creation, we find our common language.”
🎥
🎶 Stage 3 — Cooperate & Perform (June–Sept 2026)
During summer 2026, participants will rehearse remotely through digital collaboration.
The final result — a powerful concert-performance in Göteborg, Sweden, combining Nordic mythology, sustainability and future visions.
“It’s not just a show — it’s a shared story of who we are and who we want to become.”
