Femina RY advocates for a more sustainable and just society, empowering children and youth, advancing access to culture and education, and valuing it as a human right. We believe that culture & education is the keys to unlocking human potential. We offer a variety of creative and educational programs that develop creative skills, active participation and leadership potential through learning, mentoring, networking, skill-building, advocacy and advancement. Our programmes empower youth by providing creative tools, skills and connections to increase their impact. We provide drama and music lessons to help children and youth develop their creativity, self-confidence, cultural awareness, and language skills. We organize camps to give children & youth opportunities to express themself, communicate and explore new opportunities. We stimulate the joy of reading and promote solidarity and cooperation differently and excitingly. We run creative workshops, trainings, performances, discussions, conferences

We believe in sustainable culture and Nordic dialogue, promoting creative discussions or even debates about Nordic culture, arts and languages. Our initiatives include:

This creative programme empowers children and young people to explore and develop their artistic talents through the vibrant lens of Nordic culture. By blending collaborative learning, performance co-creation, and open discussion, participants engage with themes like sustainability, gender equality, and social solidarity—core values rooted in Nordic heritage.

The programm aims to empowers youth by providing tools, skills and connections to increase impact. Through hands-on workshops and interactive activities, the programme fosters:

Activities

Stage 1: Learn

Local Workshops for Children & Youth:

In each partner country, we host two local creative workshops. These workshops delve into Nordic culture, emphasizing its sustainable relationship with nature, gender equality, and social solidarity.
Our goal? To nurture young minds, sparking curiosity and understanding through creative content development.

Stage 2: Create

Cooperation Meeting and Creative Workshops
Espoo, Finland

Eight participants from each country convene in Espoo. Here, we explore the essence of our cooperation program, exchange best practices, and select core ideas.
Simultaneously, children and youth engage in a pivotal creative workshop. Within these artistic realms, they craft content for future performances, gaining fresh experiences and pioneering innovative approaches.

Stage 3: Cooperate & Perform

Creative Workshop in Denmark:

Our journey nears completion as eight representatives per country gather in Denmark.
Here, we finalize performance content, conduct initial rehearsals, and unveil the children and youth vision for the future of Nordic culture.

Nordic Culture Hackathon- conference, and concert-performance
Göteborg, Sweden:

A momentous occasion! Ten participants per country, including experts (both physical and virtual), converge in Göteborg.

The conference-hakaton serves as a nexus for shared experiences, best practices, and deeper insights into the Nordic culture’s future. We listen to the voices of children and youth, witnessing the transformative power of arts within the context of sustainability, gender equality, and social solidarity.
