In 2017, in the Finnish city of Lohja, a group of women decided to create a community organisation to help migrant women and vulnerable groups. They were inspired by the power of unity and believed that every woman could help herself and others.

The organisation was named Femina Ry. Its goal is to achieve a more sustainable and just society by developing women’s professional, business, and leadership potential. Femina Ry strives to ensure that every woman has an equal opportunity to achieve her goals and fulfil her potential.

The organisation realises its goal through various programmes and projects. It runs workshops, trainings, seminars, and information days, teaching people practical skills and essential aspects of socialisation and social integration. Femina ry also fights gender inequality, promotes human rights and the Finnish legal system, and provides information to help women organise their lives.

One of Femina Wry’s priorities is supporting women entrepreneurs. The organisation provides women with opportunities to learn entrepreneurial skills and helps them gain access to financial resources and markets.

Femina ry also works with children and youth. The organisation provides additional education for them, helping them to reach their potential and prepare for adulthood.

Femina ry has made significant achievements in its short history. The organisation contributes to a more just and equitable society.

Femina ry continues its work and strives to achieve its goals. The organisation believes every woman can make a difference in the world and is committed to helping women realise their potential.
