“What if women’s leadership also meant safer, healthier communities?”

🎯 About the Project

The “Women’s Leadership in Health & Safety Education” project, coordinated by Femina ry (Finland), aims to strengthen the capacity of educators and community leaders to integrate health and safety education, gender equality, and digital learning into leadership programmes for adults.

The initiative addresses three key challenges in adult education:

  • Gender-sensitive leadership — empowering women to create safer and more inclusive workplaces.
  • Digital transformation — equipping educators with skills to deliver accessible online and blended training.
  • International collaboration — fostering long-term partnerships to share best practices and co-create innovative learning models.

Through this project, six adult education professionals from Femina ry will participate in an 8--day training programme in Riga, Latvia, organised by Mācību centrs Komunālceltnieks — a leading vocational and adult education institution with over 30 years of experience in safety and leadership training.
