“Nordic-Baltic Women Empowerment and Prevention of Violence” – initiative for equality, peace, and sustainable societies
💡 About the initiative
“Nordic-Baltic Women Empowerment and Prevention of Violence” brings together leading civil society organizations from five countries to strengthen cross-border collaboration on gender equality, prevent violence, and promote women’s leadership in the era of green and digital transformation.
Through workshops, trainings, and international events, the project empowers 180 participants — experts, activists, educators, and young women — to challenge stereotypes, promote equality, and build a safer, fairer society.
🕊️ Goals
- Strengthen collaboration between Nordic CSOs and women’s networks.
- Build capacity on gender equality, equal treatment, and prevention of gender-based violence.
- Promote women’s leadership in business, education, and politics.
- Integrate a gender and youth perspective in all activities.
- Create lasting tools — including the Gender Journey Guidebook, policy recommendations, and digital resources.
“Gender equality prevents violence against women,
contributes to economic prosperity and peaceful societies.”
