We would like to remind you that municipal and regional elections will be held in Finland on 14 April. This is your chance to have a real impact on decisions about women, youth and equality in your city and region!
Your vote is incredibly important, so don’t hesitate to make your voice heard!
🔹 Gender equality – it’s so important that women are represented in politics to make their voices heard in health, education, social protection and protection from violence.
🔹 Youth future – municipal and regional decisions have the power to shape our future! Your vote can make a real difference to access to education, support for youth initiatives and environmental policies.
🔹 Women’s advocacy – electoral participation is the key to achieving fair policies on parenthood, labour rights and equal pay.
So, how to vote?
✔ Early voting: it’s already started and will run until 9 April.
📆 Election Day Voting: 14 April from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
✔ EU citizens can vote in municipal elections and non-EU citizens can vote if they have lived in Finland for at least two years.
