Femina RY participated in a gender equality conference in Tallinn. The meeting, entitled “Towards gender equality and a violence-free society” took place on March 1–2, 2024, and brought together a wide range of experts and influencers.

During the conference, in-depth discussions were held on reducing gender-based violence, empowering women, and dismantling harmful stereotypes.

Participants shared their views and experiences and sought ways to strengthen gender equality in society.

Maria Rajala, representing Femina RY, gave an impressive speech at the conference, highlighting the importance of norm critique and gender equality. Her message resonated with the audience and sparked a debate on how to empower women, especially in times of crisis.

At the end of the conference, participants committed themselves to working for gender equality and a non-violent society. The event provided valuable insights and tools to help combat prejudice and stereotypes in all areas of society.
